Leaksville Schools Opening Sept. 6, 1923

Schools Open Thursday; Announcement of Faculty

All the schools in Leaksville Township will open Thursday morning, September 6th. It is very important that every pupil who expects to attend any of the schools this term be present Thursday to be enrolled, and properly graded and some may think it will be just as well to wait until next week or the week following to enroll. This is a mistaken idea. Pupils who enter late cause delay, and cause those who have already entered to suffer a certain amount of neglect and delay in their work. There will be no school on Friday. Pupils are expected to secure their books and prepare their lessons before Monday. Class work is expected to begin in earnest on Monday. Superintendent James E. Holmes announces the faculty as follows:
