Mr. J.W. Finch of Rosemary had the misfortune to lose a barn of tobacco by fire on last Thursday week. The origin of the fire is unknown but it is thought that it started from some boy’s smoking a cigarette. The barn and its entire contents were destroyed including some cotton, fodder, cottonseed, poultry wire and farming utensils. The estimated loss was around $500, and there was no insurance.
