Goldston, Rt. 1, Dec. 31—Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Smith and children, of Greensboro, spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Carroll.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barber and Miss Lillian Goins of Hyman, S.C., were guests of Mr. Barber’s brother, E.P. Barber, last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvie Washburn and children, of Siler City, and Mr. J.A. Oldham of Greensboro spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Oldham.
Mr. Claud Hilliard and his new bride returned to their home in Greensboro Sunday, after spending a week with relatives and friends.
Mr. J.W. Oldham of Taylor, S.C., spent the holidays with his brother, Thomas Oldham.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Oldham December 23, a son, Elbert Richard.
