Since the State highway was built through Chapel Hill we see automobiles from every state in the Union, of all shapes and sizes, from weather-beaten cars with trailers behind to luxurious limousines containing handsomely dressed objects that look like millionaires and millionairesses. When I stopped at Jack Sparrow’s filling station the other day, a gigantic Locomobile with a New York license was pulling away, and Mr. Sparrow said: “That certainly was a fine customer; loaded 35 gallons of gas into his tank.”
