Bee Keepers to Have a Transferring Exhibit. . . Bee Specialist Will Show the Folks How to Take Bees from One Hive and Put ‘Em in Another—Scott's Apiary

Bee keepers of Columbus are looking forward to the county bee keepers’ meeting and transferring demonstration that is to be held at the apiary of R.W. Scott Jr., near bolton on Wednesday, April 9th.

Mr. Scott, who is one of the county’s best and largest bee raisers, has gone to some pains to secure 23 old fashioned log hives for demonstration. State Bee Expert C.L. Samms will show the gathering how bees are transferred from such log hives to modern bee homes. Mr. Samms will also show how to transfer bees from one modern hive to another, and various phases of the bee keeping industry will be explained. All bee keepers and the public is invited to attend the demonstration.
