Salisbury, N.C., May 3—Rev. George E. Paddock of Charleston, S.C., was elected moderator of the conference of Congregational churches of the Carolinas at its sessions here today. Rev. E.L. Wehrenburg of Star, N.C., was elected assistant moderator, Prof. E.F. Green of Star, scribe, and Rev. W.B. Dutters of Salisbury, registrar and treasurer.
