Mr. Alfred Moody died at his home north of Asheboro Monday night at the age of 63 years. Mr. Moody had been a member of the Baptist church for a number of years and was an honest, upright citizen. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. V.B. Staley at Christian Union Baptist church, near Seagrove, Tuesday afternoon, after which interment followed in the church cemetery.
The deceased is survived by is last wife and 14 children, his first wife and one child having preceded him several years ago.
