Salvation Army to Conduct Three Services June 8, 1924

Salvation Army Commander to be in New Bern Today. . . Major Barrett to Conduct Three Services Here—Accompanied by Staff, Band

Major William Barrett, commanding officer of the Salvation Army in the Carolinas, will be in New Bern this afternoon, accompanied by his staff and the staff band. At 3 o’clock this afternoon Major Barrett will conduct at service at the Centenary Methodist Church. At 7 o’clock, a service will be held on the Elks corner, and at 8 o’clock, Major Barrett will conduct a joint service at the Centenary Methodist Church. The public is cordially invited to attend all services.
