Jones Steals Money From Epileptic Having Seizure, July 20, 1924

Negro Arrested for Larceny

One of the most interesting cases in recorder’s court Monday morning will be that of James. H. Jones, charged with larceny from the person. Early Saturday night James Bigloe, negro employee of the city in the streets department, was lying in an epileptic fit near the east corner of Union station when Jones passed and it is alleged that he frisked $12.30 off the unconscious man. He immediately went to the telegraph office and wired part of the money to a woman in New York, and was caught there and arrested.
