At the meeting of the Elisha Mitchell Scientific Society Tuesday night in Phillips Hall, James M. Bell, professor of chemistry, read a paper on “Electrometric Methods of Chemical Analysis.” The subject of D.A. McPherson’s paper was “The Relation of Hydrogen Ions to Bacteriology and Public Health.” This was the 275th meeting of the society.
