The August term of Cabarrus County Superior Court, with Judge H.P. Lane presiding, was adjourned Thursday afternoon after a three-weeks term. The first week was devoted to the trial of criminal cases and the last two weeks to civil cases. In the case of T.M. Alexander vs. Laura Fleming judgement for the plaintiff was returned by a jury which rendered its verdict Thursday.
In the case of Fred Lowder vs. S.J. and W.B. Sprott, trading as Sprott Brothers, a verdict was returned for the plaintiff.
A verdict for the defendant was returned in the case of Kiser Auto Exchange vs. Edgar Mullis.
In the case of W.S. Bogle vs. R.T. Fry and Mrs. F.M. Goodrich, a verdict for the plaintiff was returned.
