Mr. Phil Womack Dead

Mr. Phil Womack died at his home near Sandy Mush Tuesday at 12 o’clock of infirmities incident to old age, he being about 80 years old.

He was widely known and highly respected and a member of the Baptist church. Mr. Womack had been twice married and is survived by his second wife and six children, Mrs. Lettie Hamrick, Mrs. Tommie Toms, Mrs. Lila McSwain, Messrs. Lawton, John and Burrell Womack.

Interment took place at Mt. Pleasant church cemetery at 2 o’clock this afternoon.
