Cherry Woman and Daughter-in-Law Hurt in Collision, Nov. 19, 1925

Two Women Hurt When Cars Collide. . . Mrs. Willie Cherry and Mrs. Gordon Cherry Injured When Hit by Charlotte Car

Mrs. Willie Cherry of DeVane Street suffered a broken collar bone and numerous bruises when the car in which she was riding collided on the Roseboro Road Saturday with a car bearing a Charlotte license. Mrs. Cherry, with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gordon Cherry and her child, were returning form Roseboro with Mr. Perry Patterson, a brother of the younger Mrs. Cherry. The Patterson car was completely wrecked while the other car was only slightly damaged.

When Mrs. Cherry was picked up she was unconscious, but restoratives were applied and she was later brought home. Mrs. Gordon Cherry is slightly bruised and likewise suffered from shock. The other two occupants of the Patterson car were unhurt. Mrs. Cherry is said to be in a weakened condition although on Tuesday she sat up for a short time.
