Funeral of J.B. Raby

The funeral of Mr. John B. Raby will be preached May 30th at the Sherrill Cemetery by the pastor of Wilmot Baptist church, Rev. J.H. Hammett. Mr. Raby died January 28, 1926, at his home in Wilmot. He is survived by four children, two sons, Bedford Raby of Qualla and W.A. Raby of Canton, and two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Bradley and Mrs. J.W Settlemyre, both of Wilmot. He was 87 years old and had been a member of the Baptist church for many years.
