Blanche Osborne, Eskel Simms Wed in South Carolina, June 17, 1921

The News was apprised by telegram Wednesday morning of the marriage in Greenville, S.C., on the same day of Eskel Simms and Miss Blanche Osborne, both of this community. Details of the ceremony were not given in the wire.

Mr. Simms is well known here and very popular. He was at one time the very efficient deputy sheriff associated with ex-sheriff Cos Paxton and made the race for sheriff in the Democratic primary, preceding the last election. He served his country overseas in the famous 30th division.

Miss Osborne is the daughter of C.K. Osborne, a well known and prosperous farmer living near Brevard. She is a young lady of attractive qualities and was recently a student at Mars Hill College.
