News From Ingold School Community, Feb. 3, 1922

Ingold School News

The health of this community is not very good at present. School is progressing nicely with 52 enrolled.

We organized a society a few weeks ago. The following officers were elected. Miss Ethel Poplin, President; Zora Kimrey, Vice President; Lessie Ingold, Secretary; Flora Poplin, Treasurer; Arnold Poplin, Birgle Kimrey, Miss Nora Thompson, Committee; Miss Freda Poplin, Critic. We meet every two weeks and the program has been carried out nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. John Ledbetter spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Kimrey.

Misses Nora Hatley, Freda Poplin and Mr. Oden Thompson spent Sunday afternoon with Miss Kester Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. G.D. Poplin spent a while Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Kimrey.

Miss Emma Vanhoy of Palestine spent last week with her sister, Mrs. W.L. Russell.

Mr. D.D. Miller has been suffering with a burned finger for the past week.

Miss Rosie Miller of Albemarle is spending this week with her parents.

Misses Iola and Cardelia Kimrey spent Sunday with Miss Nada Sides.

Mr. Lonnie Thompson Spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. Arnold Poplin.
