Burlington, Feb. 14—The funeral services for W.P. Rudd, who died at his home on Faucette street Sunday night at the age of 65, were conducted at the home Monday at 12 o’clock and the remains were taken to Bethel church, near Baynes store, for burial. Mr. Rudd was a victim of pneumonia, being ill with the disease for only a few days. He is survived by his wife and nine children as follows: W.D. Tom and Claud Rudd, Misses Viola, Ila and Clara Rudd, all of this city; Mrs. J. Hurdle and Mrs. Pettigrew of Union Ridge; Mrs. C.A. Hughes of Elon College.
