Two Guests at McNeill-Davis Wedding Flew In, June 17, 1923

Airplane Brings Wedding Guests

Kinston, June 16—A big airplane brought two of the guests to the wedding here Saturday afternoon of Miss Grace Chamberlain McNeill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. McNeill, of this city, and Capt. Warren Davis of Fort Bragg and Fayetteville. Lieut. L. A. Walthall H. Lutterloh of Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, respectively, made the trip in a 400-horsepower DeHaviland-4. Many other officers and civilian guests from the post and Fayetteville cam in autos and by train. Capt. Davis, a Western man, has been in the service a number of years, and Mrs. Davis, popular in local social circles, resided in Fayetteville, where their romance is understood to have started, until a few months ago.
