Durham Policeman Guilty of Forcible Trespass, Feb. 17, 1924

Found Guilty on Trespass Charge. . . A.W. Allison, Durham Policeman, Adjudged Guilty—Appeal Is Taken

A.W. Allison, Durham police officer, was fined $10 and the costs Saturday in court before Recorder P.C. Graham when he was adjudged guilty of forcible trespass. Allison was arrested upon warrant sworn out by Mrs. Helen Abbott, occupant of rooms above business establishments on Main street, following a raid officers made upon her rooms in search for whiskey.

Appeal to superior court was made by the policeman and the case will probably be aired before a jury in the near future.
