By the Associated Press

Augusta, Ga., Nov. 8—the death last night of Mrs. J.W. Lee, wife of a planter of Beldoc, Barnwell County, was the fourth to have occurred in the family within the past week as the result of an alleged poisoned well on the farm, it was learned here today.

Three small daughters of the Lees, the oldest of whom was six, died last Tuesday afternoon a few hours after drinking water from the well. The youngest child, 10 months old, was the only member of the family not poisoned.

The mystery surrounding the poisoning of the water has not been cleared up, according to information received today.

The well has been used by the family for many years.
