A.J. Edmundson's Store at Five Points Is Total Loss, Dec. 7, 1921

Fire at Five Points

About noon today the fire department received a call from Five Points, a suburb of this city, and found that the store of Mr. A.J. Edmundson was too far gone to be saved.

The fire originated from an oil stove, and the building with all its contents was consumed. The buildign and stock were valued at around $4,500, and the insurance was carried by J.S. Whitehead & co., as follows, $1,000 on store building and $1,500 on stock. The loss therefore was $2,000.
