Tyrrell County Man Kills a Prize Porker

News comes Tyrrell County with a prize porker. Stewart Cahoon, a well know farmer of that county killed a Duroc-Jersey hog weighing 655 pounds dressed. The hog was 2 ½ years old. At the same hog killing last week, Mr. Cahoon killed an 18 months old hog that dressed 440 pounds.

Stewart Cahoon is one of the most industrious and progressive farmers in his county. His farm of 100 acres in Alligator Township, near the village of Fort Landing, is considered one of the best farms in the county. His farm last year produced 1,200 barrels of potatoes, 400 bushels of corn, 500 bushels of peas, say nothing of 85 yead of dressed hogs sold, and some cattle. He has the finest horses and mules in Tyrrell County.
