E.M. Wiles, R.H. Yoder Hurt on Job When Scaffolding Gave Way, Aug. 1, 1922

Two Carpenters Hurt in a Fall Yesterday

E.M. Wiles and R.H. Yoder, who were injured by a fall from a scaffold on which they were at work in Ardmore yesterday afternoon, are both reported to be resting easy in a local hospital today. Mr. Yoder has a broken arm, while Mr. Wiles suffered external bruises.

The two men were working on a dwelling house when the scaffold gave way, throwing them with a lot of debris to the ground. They were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Mr. Yoder lives in Crafton Heights while Mr. Wiles is a native of North Wilkesboro.
