Sailing Party for Guest

A sailing party was given by Miss Margaret Bondurant on the Lotus Friday night in honor of her guest Miss Vantha Cole of Baltimore. Those present besides the guest of honor were: Misses Eva McMullan, Ivy Walbeck of Philadelphia, Dorothy Jones, Valeria Scott, Ruth White, Margaret McCabe, Emily Jennings, Elizabeth Etheridge, Anna Hester Bobbitt, Katherine Spence, Elizabeth Nash, Minnie Nash, Sue Grice, Eloise Cohoon, Inez Bell of Edenton, Mary Clare Peterson of Wilmington, Messrs. William Jennings, Heywood Duke, Clyde Lisky, Fred de Treville, Charles Seyffert, Roy Simmons, Whit Woodley, Carlton Woodley, Gurkin Cooke, Frank Dawson, Will Dawson, and Will Gaither. Dr. and Mrs. T.P. Nash Jr., Mrs. Howard Combs and Mrs. T.S. McMullan were the chaperones.

House Party at Nags Head

A house party by Miss Dorothy Zoeller as hostess left Monday for Ruffitt Cottage at Nags Head where they will spend several days. The guests were: Misses Adelaide Dunstan, Eunce Goodwin, Dell Fearing, Marion Gorham of Tarboro, and Eunice Perry. The chaperones were: Misses Mary Lee Long and Anna Whitehurst.

Dr. M.M. Harris spent Sunday at Nags Head.

Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Stallings and son, James Jr., returned home Sunday from Nags Head after spending several weeks there.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Worth left Sunday for Nags Head, where they will spend two weeks.

Mrs. Geo. F. Hill and George Jr. returned home Monday from Norfolk.

Dr. C.B. Williams and Mrs. Williams, with children Robert and Rennie, have returned from a trip to the Catskill mountains, New York.

W.L. Cohoon, attorney for the State Highway Commission, returned Sunday from a trip to Central North Carolina.

Ralph Pool of the staff of the Virginia Pilot, Norfolk, spent the week end here.

J. Raleigh Morrisette is visiting relatives in the city.

Miss Mary Nixon left Monday to spend some time at Nags Head.

Larry Skinner Jr., Albert Bright, Stuart Wood and William Daily left Sunday to join a house party at Nags Head for two weeks.

C.P. Harris returned Sunday from Nags Head.

Mrs. Mary Sawyer Wright and sons Brent and Jerry Wright left Sunday for Nags Head, where they will spend several days.

F.M. Cook spent Sunday at Nags Head.

Misses Margaret Sawyer and Mildred Perry returned Sunday from Nags Head, where they have been the guests of Misses Elizabeth and Virginia LeRoy.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ennis Skinner and daughters, Misses Pauline, Mary Louise, Katherine and Marjory, returned Sunday from Nags Head.
