Gaston County to Get 100th Cotton Mill, Oct. 4, 1922
Gaston County’s 100th Cotton Mill Authorized
Gastonia, Oct. 3—A new weave mill, which makes the 100th cotton mill for Gaston county, has been organized by the Lola Manufacturing company of Stanley, according to an announcement by company officials today. A weaving department and dye plant, according to the announcement, will be installed for the manufacture of colored cotton goods. John C. Rankin is president of the new concern.
