News From Luck, Oct. 6, 1922

Luck Items

The people of Luck Chapel and several other churches spent an enjoyable day at Mt. Pleasant Oct. 1. They had singing, speaking and plenty of dinner on the ground.

D.A. Ray was very bad disappointed last Wednesday night.

The citizens of Spring Creek met Monday, October 24th, and subscribed $925 for improvement of their road. (Maybe means September? Or Oct. 2 or 4?)

Mr. D.A. Ray was bad mistaken when he stated that Lewis Plemmons drove the first car to Luck, “though” I suppose he meant to say the best.

The farmers are about through taking fodder.
