Funeral services over the remains of little Martha Honeysuckle, who died Thursday morning at the home of her parents in Edgemont, were conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the home with Rev. W.E. Anderson pastor of the Free Will Baptist church, officiating, assisted by Rev. R.V. Self of Asheville. Interment was in the Ellis burying grounds.

Holt Funeral Held Yesterday
With a large number of relatives and friends present, the last sad rights over the remains of Arthur H. Holt were held Saturday afternoon and burial took place in the Vickers burying ground. The funeral was held from the home on Spring street at 4 o’clock with Rev. Trela D. Collins, pastor of Temple Baptist church, officiating.
The deceased died from a heart attack Thursday afternoon, passing away within a few minutes after being stricken.
