Mrs. Benjamin F. Lane of Franklinton, aged 71 years, died Friday, September 14, and buried at Banks Chapel. She served the Lord all the days of her life and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her sons and son-in-laws were the pall bearers, and her grand-children carried the flowers. A large number of surviving relatives and friends attended the funeral and burial services, and the floral tribute was beautiful. The surviving children are Walter B. Lane and Miss Ora Lane, Franklinton; Miss Berdie F. Lane, Henderson; Mrs. T.W. Bortholomew, Nashville; Mrs. B.S. Reece and Mrs. Roy E. Wilder, Spring Hope.
