Dublin, June 15—The prolonged trial of the Croker will contest came to an end today with a verdict in favor of Mrs. Richard Croker on all the points contested by the children of her late husband.
The announcement of the jury evoked a noisy demonstration in the courtroom.
Chief Justice Maloney ruled that the assessment of the costs of the trial against Richard Croker Jr. and also against Mrs. Ethel C. White, daughter of the late Mr. Croker, as far as they were increased by her intervention in the suit.
It was considered that in his summing up the judge strongly favored Mrs. Croker’s side of the case. In the final passages of his charge he referred to the weakness of the case as based on the charge of bigamy against Mrs. Croker with one Guy Marone.
Today’s verdict in no way implies any endorsement of the charges made by Richard Croker Senior against Richard Croker Junior. They were not an issue in the case. Today’s decision by the court established for the first time the position of Mrs. Croker as her late husband’s representative in all matters.
