Raleigh, N.C., Sept. 15—An unidentified man was burned to death at Maxton this afternoon, according to reports received here, when an automobile which he had stolen turned turtle and caught fire, he being pinned underneath.
The car was the property of Lucius Brown. The man was so badly burned that it was said to be impossible to tell whether he was a white man or a negro.
