The funeral services of Mrs. John H. Thorpe, who died early yesterday at her home in Rocky Mount, took place from the Thorpe home on Hamond street in that city at 3 o’clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Willard Conger, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, and Rev. J.W. Kincheloes, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial was in the Thorpe family cemetery several miles from Rocky Mount in Nash county.
