Oak Grove, April 1—The farmers of this section are being delayed with their spring work on account of the bad weather.
There was a spelling match at Oak Grove on Wednesday night of last week, which was enjoyed by a large crowd. The school closed Friday after a very successful term. The people of this section are thankful to the teachers for their good work.
Sunday school was organized at Oak Grove Sunday, a large crowd being present for the opening day. The prospects are for a good attendance this year.
We are having lots of sickness in this section at present.
There will be preaching at Oak Grove church on the second Saturday night of this month.
