Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Dewey of Goldsboro are at Cleveland Springs Hotel for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Marks of Tampa, Fla., are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Groves.

Mr. A.M. Watson, accompanied by Messrs. Noah Bass and W.H. Hurley, left yesterday for a visit to northern cities.

Corporal Floyd Chadwick of New Bern passed through the city yesterday afternoon en route home after spending 10 days at Camp Bragg.

Mrs. J.W. Stewart and daughter, Miss Sarah, of New Bern spent yesterday in the city, shopping and visiting friends.

Mr. R.A. Thrift of Raleigh was among the business visitors in the city yesterday.

Mr. S.F. McCotter Jr. of Vandemere spent last night in the city.

Mr. B.W. Paine of Greensboro arrived in the city yesterday for a business visit.

Mr. J.W. Englewood of Fayetteville is spending the day here attending to business matters.

Mr. R.E. Weaver of Greensboro is among the visitors in the city today.

Miss Sadie Rae Pope of Raeford is spending a few days in the city as the guest of Mrs. Guion Lee.

Miss Virginia Borden has returned to the city after an extensive visit on the west coast.

Mrs. H.B. Parker and daughter, Miss Frances, have returned to the city after a visit in New York.

Mrs. A.P. Gardner, C.C. Morgan, and H.B. Garner have returned to the city after a visit at Ocean View.

Dr. H.M. House and Dr. A.G. Woodard spent yesterday afternoon and last evening at Wilson, attending the district medical convention.

Mr. and Mrs. Solly Isaacs are visiting relatives at Spartanburg, S.C.
