Mrs. Pendergraph, 80, Has Died, Dec. 11, 1924

Mrs. Pendergraph’s Death

Mrs. J.S. Pendergraph died at her home in Damascus section Sunday at the age of 80 years and seven months, and was buried at Orange Church Monday. She is survived by her husband, eight children, 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her sons and daughters are Mrs. J.P. Scoggins of Vinton, Virginia; D.C., A.S. and H.G. Pendergraph of Alamance county; J.W. Pendergraph of Durham; and Mrs. Eugene Davis, Mrs. D.B. Davis, and Mrs. W.N. Canady of Chapel Hill. Mr. Pendergraph and the other members of the family ask to thank their friends for their sympathy and helpfulness during Mrs. Pendergraph’s illness and at the time of her death.
