D.L. Gore, 78, Has Died, Feb. 17, 1925

Tragedies of Life Are Fearful

Wilmington, Feb. 16—D.L. Gore, 78, one of Wilmington’s pioneer citizens and reputed to be one of the state’s wealthiest land owners, father-in-law of W.B. Cooper, former lieutenant governor, died yesterday at 6:20 p.m. following an illness that dated back to the summer. Funeral services will be held here tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock and interment will be made in Oakdale Cemetery.
