Goldsboro, Feb. 3—At the regular meeting of the city aldermen held here last night, a 10-year exclusive franchise was granted to H.G. Bales, president of the Highway Motor Transit Company, a concern operating between Goldsboro and Warsaw, to operate motor driven buses of the street car type with a passenger carrying capacity of from 20 to 27 persons over the streets of the city.
