Burglars Get Not Even a 'Widow's Mite' from Church Safe, Sept. 16, 1925

Yeggman who rifled the safe of the First Presbyterian church in the heart of the city Monday night had their pains for nothing, it was learned this afternoon, when it became known that the safe had been visited by burglars last night. Treasurer W.N. Wad said that no money was in the safe at the time. Valuable papers, however, were scattered helter-skelter about the office.
