The dance at the Merchants and Manufacturers Club Friday evening, which was given by Miss Alice Yorke, Miss Miriam Coltrane, Miss Jenny Brown, Miss Louise Morris, Miss Penelope Cannon and Miss Willie White, was enjoyed by a large number of persons from Concord and surrounding cities.
The affair was one of the most brilliant of the season here, over 200 attending. The guest list included names in the two Carolinas.
Music was furnished by Paul Owensby’s Melody Makers.
