The Colored Village

The members of the First Baptist Church are working very faithfully, raising money to start the erection of their new church. Rev. P.F. Long, their beloved pastor, is somewhat indisposed at present, but we hope for him a very speedy recovery.

Several of our Badin citizens motored thru the country to hear the Williams Jubilee Singers last Monday night. Every member was a star, and the program was thoroly enjoyed by all.
