For several years it has been the custom of the children of Mrs. Fannie Baugham, Potecasi, N.C., to meet each other at home for at least one day in every year, this day preferably being May 22, which is Mrs. Baugham’s birthday, but if impossible to get there on this date some other is planned, so this year it was July 3rd when they all gathered home. This is a day that is looked forward to with great pleasure by each child as well as by the mother, and when the day begins to close and the children are preparing to return to their homes, they feel that this day at home with mother has been a great day in their lives, and that their appreciation of mother is greater than ever before. It being Sunday, only a good old-fashioned country dinner was partaken of.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. N. Martin and children, Conway; Mr. And Mrs. Zeb Baugham and son, Richmond, Va.; Mrs. T.E. Rollins, Washington, D.C.; Mr. And Mrs. L.M. Beale and children, and Miss Bertha Baugham, Potecasi; and Mr. Stuart Johnson, Richmond, Va.
