Rev. J.H. Haynes has returned from Mt. Airy, where he spent several days last week.
Mrs. G.C. Carr will entertain the See-So Club at her apartments in the Betty Field Home on Tuesday at 3:30 o’clock.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Ivie and son, Elliott Jr., will spend Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Millner at their new home at Cascade, Va.
Mrs. D.F. King Jr. and children spent the week-end with Mrs. King’s sister, Mrs. Watson Scott, in Winston-Salem.
Mrs. Holmes of Edenton is the guest of Professor and Mrs. J.E. Holmes. Mrs. Holmes is a sister-in-law of Professor Holmes.
