Workers Pass on One-Time Program. . . Cotton Mill Operatives Meet in Mooresville and Adopt Resolutions on Nature of Their Labor

Charlotte, March 31—One-time operation of textile mills in the Carolinas is working a hardship on operatives and is telling on the health of the workers and their families, according to a resolution of joint council of the workers of the Carolinas held at Mooresville yesterday and made public here today.

The resolutions call on the operators to accept reasonable profit and keep the mills running. The text of the resolutions was made public to officials of the council and recite “so that the merchants, doctors, and their interested patrons may know why it is impossible for textiles to pay bills promptly.
