Dr. Baker Adding X-Ray Machine to Treat Cancer to Sanatorium, Nov. 17, 1924

Addition to Sanatorium and New X-Ray Machine Bought, Nov. 17, 1924

Dr. H.M. Baker has just completed an additional room on the northwest side of the sanatorium which bears his name and of which he is proprietor, this room being especially construction for installation of a new deep therapy X-ray machine, which has been purchased and which is expected to be installed soon.

The Baker sanatorium is one of the best-equipped institutions of the kind in the State. It already has, and has had for some years, an X-ray machine for taking photographs, but Dr. Baker sees the need for an additional machine of the type used for treating certain diseases, cancer being more successfully treated with a machine of this kind than with radium, with which the Baker sanatorium also is equipped, one of the few in the State so equipped.
