Miles Ferebee New Elizabety City Manager, Nov. 14, 1924

Alderman Becomes City Manager

MILES W. FEREBEE

When the Aldermen looked around for a City Manager to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of John B. Bray, they took one of their own number, giving the job to Miles W. Ferebee, Alderman from the Fourth Ward, at a salary of $200 a month. Mr. Ferebee’s appointment took place last Friday and is effective from November 1, when he took over the supervision of the construction of the new city stables. The next question will be the appointment of an Alderman from the Fourth Ward to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Ferebee’s resignation.
