The Commissioners met in regular session July 6th, 1925; all members of the Board present; minutes of last meeting read and approved.
On motion Thos. Staley is discharged from the County Home, his health having improved to where he can support himself.
On motion C.L. Jordan was relieved of Poll Tax on account of being over the lawful age. The report of the Highway Commissioner was received and filed.
On motion, Alex Campbell, Route 1, was allowed $5 per month for support beginning today.
On motion, Mary Wagner Kelly, Carthage Route 4, is hereby allowed $5 per month for support beginning today.
On motion, Mrs. Lessie May Wallace is hereby allowed $15 per month for one year from Mothers Aid Fund.
On motion, Miss Eifort is allowed $15 per month for June, July and August for __Blue, colored, Sandhills Township.
On motion, Lillie Dixon, who now resides in Lee County is hereby allowed $10 for the month of July; same to be paid to Miss Lucile Eifort.
On motion, Miss Eifort his hereby allowed $25 for the support of William Jones of Addor.
On motion, it is ordered that a reward of $100 for the arrest and delivery to the sheriff of Moore County of Robert Chalmers and a reward of $100 for the arrest and delivery of Curtis Thompson, charged with the murder of John Fox in Deep River Township in Moore County, and the same is hereby made.
On motion, K.W. Leach of Bensalem was appointed Road Commissioner in place of Geo. H. Maurice, resigned. G.C. Seymour of Sandhills was appointed on the Road Commission of the county, to fill out unexpired term of E.T. McKeithen, resigned.
On motion, it was ordered that the list takers be allowed 10 cents per name, plus $10 for expenses to each list taker.
