Miss Bright Matthews, for the past five and a half years a missionary of the Southern Presbyterian church at Moppo, Korea, has arrived in Charlotte to spend a vacation. She will be the guest here for several months of her sisters, Miss Mary Matthews, Mrs. J.L. DeLaney, Mrs. J.J. Barnhard, of Concord, and other relatives and friends. She went to Concord Saturday to appear before a Bible class of the First Presbyterian church there, which class sent her to the mission field as its representative. For several months prior to starting on her return to the United States, Miss Matthews traveled in China and Japan.
