Winston-Salem, N.C., Dec. 8—Jeanette Harris, 4-year-old daughter of Henry Harris, merchant of this city, was run over and fatally injured this morning by a truck driven by a negro, Fred Douglas. The accident occurred while the child was crossing the street with her nurse.
Douglas was arrested and is being held pending inquiry.
