On Friday, April 6, Mr. G.W. Melton was given a surprise birthday dinner celebrating his 46th birthday. Guests for the occasion were Mr. W.J. Melton of Norwood, Mr. and Mrs. J.U. Whitlock and Mr. and Mrs. C. Lester Melton and little son, Jack, of this place. Mr. Melton, his father and children, and one grandchild, making four generations, were at the table at once.
