While cutting peas on last Monday morning, Mr. Coley Weary, who lives near Gela station, cut one foot entirely off and one nearly off his 2-year-old son. The little boy ran out into the field unnoticed and when Mr. Weary saw him the blade of the machine was nearly upon him. It was too late to stop. He was taken to Brantwood Hospital where he received medical attention.
