B.F. Starling of Stoney Creek Township was the lucky finder of a nice girl baby on his front porch last evening Immediately after finding the little lady, Mr. Starling “put out” for town accompanied by his guest. They first went to the police station and reported the affair, but officers declared they were helpless so far as caring for or finding its parents at that hour of the night, it then being about 12 o’clock.
Mr. Starling said that the stork visited his home about a week ago, intimating that the one leaving the baby with him evidently knew of the conditions. Luckily they are able to care for the child, as the two babies apparently are about the same age.
Mr. Starling returned home early this morning with his little companion, declaring he would care for her as best he could.
